biggest size that'll fit without rubbing?

I have a 95 2dr with no lift. I'm probably needing to get new tires and i'm wondering the biggest that'll fit without any rubbing or problems?

Doing some reading or a quick search would have found your answer ;).

The biggest on stock I believe is 30x9.50R15 (currently what I have). If you go any bigger then 30's, you're looking at trimming

Look at your tires size, see if its a 70 series or a 75, 75 is the biggest, that'll be equivalent to the dimensions Sisk just gave.

i have bfg 31x10.5 15 mudd terrain on stock rims stock hight and i had to do alittle inner fender modifications ( beating the hell out of it with a hammer) but its not noticeable and on the back the go right on no "modifications" haha

it also depends if you do any off roading. You might be able to fit 31s with slight rubbing but if you take it on the trails say goodbye to your fenders

i'm going to chim in here with a noob question as well.

31" tires will fit on a stock 96 rim? unlike the OP i'm thinking about a 2" body lift on my 96, and have no clue when it comes to tires.

You can fit 31's on a stock rim, yes (go with what NVANZEE has...31x10.5 15). You would want to go with that 2" body lift first though to prevent rubbing or trimming.
