Black wheels
Looking for some suggestions on what stock wheels would look good painted black. Vehicle is a 2000 4x4 blazer. Need a 4x4 wheel that had the 6" of BS. I was just going to get the stock outlaw style wheels but was wondering what else might be worth considering. I saw a pic of a black blazer with the outlaw wheels painted black and it looked pretty good. If you have any pics of other stock wheels black, please post them. My blazer is black so goal is to black it out..
Thanks |

Thanks There was another thread about this a while back. Rather than look for it, I'll just post some photos of my cars, past and present with black wheels. I don't care for the argent everybody went with in the 60's. Usually, I paint the wheel black with no tire or balance on it. Then mount and balance tires. The Ram I curreltly own. The SS El Camino I miss but Im using the same wheels on a '77 Camaro I'm working on now. When I pulled the Dakota, on the car dolly, with the Ram 2500, it got looks. |
Darn, because of previous posts in "Black rims, yes or no" the site deleted some of the best pictures.

Rattle can black
Just my opinion but that rattle can look on wheels isn't very nice looking. Looks really bad on a nice vehicle. Even worse when it starts chipping and peeling.
