3 of the Same, 1 Different
When I bought my 2002 blazer it came with 4 235/70/15 (28x9.3/15) firestone tires, unfortunately about a month and a half ago my back right tire went flat so I out the spare on which is a 235/75/5 (18.9x9.3/5). ive now been driving around for about a month and half to 2 months. im pretty strapped for cash right now so thats my reason for not getting a new tire yet. I just want to no if driving around with a different size tire will cause any damage to any parts?

Everything I've heard is that two different sized tires will cause extra wear on your rear differential.

Put the larger tire on the front and do NOT use 4wd. But get a properly sized tire quickly. Some tire shops sell used tires that still have good tread on them. Check around, you may be able to get a decent tire to use for cheap.

ebay has good deals on some used tires

thanks for all the input guys, it really helped

Just a question on this subject. Will different size tires on the front affect braking and handling?
#9
It will affect handling, but not really affect braking. It is just a lot safer for the driveline components so long as 4wd is not used.
