c5 wheels on 4x4 blazer....but theres a catch

Ok this is my first post on BF but i have been lurking for awhile now. here is my question I bought a set of 18x9 and 18x10 c5 corvette wheels(wagon wheels) in standard corvette offset i need to know will these wheels fit (in the back specifically) i know that the 4x4s rear wheels sit in an inch or so but i was trying to see if anyone has insight or experience in this area

I don't have experience with the specific wheels you're talking about, but I believe that they have the same backspacing as the Camaro SS wheels that I have on my truck. The wheels I have are 17x9 and have 6.8" backspacing. I have a ZR2 8.5 axle in the back, which is 3 inches wider than the regular 4x4 axles. I also have about 3.5" total lift between turning up the t-bars and a body lift. I'm running 265/70/17 series AT tires, and I had to trim the back of the front fender well about 2" to get reasonable clearance there, and I am using 1.25" spacers on the front wheels. Even with the 1.25" spacers I still rub on the frame with the back of the tire when turning at full lock.

If you're running a smaller overall height tire than me you might get away with less work to make them fit. My 265/70/17 is essentially a 32" tall tire. If you went with something that was in the 30-31" range, or even shorter depending on your situation, you'd probably fit the rims a lot easier.

Well I am doing what "most" people advise me not to do....and that's run a staggered set of wheels on a 4x4. I will be also doing a 4/4 static drop . I'm just wondering if the back wheels are going to clear without spacers I'm sure the front will. Bit thanks for the reply. I also know I will have to run a different series tire in the front to still have operable 4x4 tires I have choosen are 285/45/18 and 245/40/18 to give me the same rotation speed front to back .

Any input is greatly appreciated???

UPDATE: Correction!

UPDATE: So I thought....that i had 18x9 and 18x10 c5 wheels correction they are OEM 17x8x5 and 18x9x5 wheels and i did get them put on....they fit fine and perfect no cutting or spacers needed on a 4x4 and im running a 255/60/17 and 255/55/18 the tire sizes are within .1" so i still have working 4x4 I will post pics later today
