cragar soft 8's

I have a 96 blazer and I was wondering how far the my wheels would stick out from the fenders if I installed cragar soft 8's. Since they have 4 inches of backspacing, does that mean they'll stick out 4 inches?

Well do you have a 2 wheel drive or a 4 wheel? If you have a 4 wheel the stock backspacing is 6 inches, so they will stick out about two inches, however I believe the 2 wheel drive has about four inches backspacing stock so tey shouldnt stick out.

I have 4 wheel drive. Thanks. That was very helpful.

Hey papacope the stance with those wheels look great, I've been debating the 4 in backspacing for fear it would stick out too far, turns out I like it. :)

I saw that jegs has a deal for soft 8's and mickey thompson baja claws for 876ish... Is that a good deal? I will start a new thread as I am still searching lift/tire sections to determine the best plan of attack towards lifting to fit them.

Yeah thats really not too bad of a price. For the cragar rims and center caps alone it costs about 210 and the tires are 716 so if bought separately on jegs it would cost you about 925, so yeah you save about 100. Also (don't know if they still do but they used to) the tires come mounted and balanced, ready to be aired up and put on, saves the mounting and balancing fees
