Easy question!

Is the 15X7 5x4.5 the exact size of the stock 2003 blazer 4x4 4dr wheel. Also what can I do to make the back wheel stick out the same as the front wheel, if that makes sense. If you look at the front of my truck, you can tell the back wheel is in more than the front wheel i want to make them even, by bringing the back wheel out. I am looking at getting new tires and rims, both at stock size, so how would i be able to accomplish the problem of makeing them sitck out the same.
thanx
Ron

15x7 5x4.75 bolt circle is the size of the stock rims.

You would need to use spacers in the back to bring them out flush with the front axle.

RE: Easy question!

get spacers, it's much cheeper. or buy new rims that are wider. the rims are 15x8 5x4.75if it's a 4x4 most likely. maybe 7" wide, but i think mine are 8". mine is an 89 though. i thought 8" wide was pretty standard.

RE: Easy question!

do you know what size spacer i would need and would that throw anything off by having that spacer on?

ha didn't see your post swart.

for the spacer it depends on how far out you want your rims. if they need to come out an inch, then get one an inch thick.

I think its 1.75' spacer you would need...but that's just a wild guess....there was a thread on this a while back..

Or...you could get a ZR2 rear axle and just slap that under there...then youre even with no spacers :D

will putting a spacer in hurt anything or stress anything out to soon. Also will a spacer do anything to my warrenty for some strange reason.

RE: Easy question!

Also is there a reason Chevy made the wheels in the back closer together than the front wheels?

RE: Easy question!

stability in the turns! I would guess..

If you think about it, a hard right turn makes the front end dive and you lean to the left. If it were narrow up front, youd just tumble right over the wheel. Makes sense to me :D
