Have a lug problem
So i have a 87 chevy blazer. Just got new rims from craigslist. Two of them are five lug two are universal. The two that are five lug don't fit, they are barely off. I need an adapter if possible. How do I go about that?

Ok welcome to the forum
Next this is the place to intoduce yourself not ask tech questions :icon_doh: And finaly to your question. Why did you buy wheels that didn't just bolt up considering its a very common lug pattern on the older GM trucks? But you can go on ebay and find adapters but I've never really heard good things about running adapters. Can it be done? Sure. But Id rather just have a wheel that fits to start. Good luck finding what you need. |
welcome to the show brother, from Canada.
as for your wheel issue...................take a look through the Tires and Wheels section found on the main page. really wondering how you managed to purchase a set of wheels, when the bolt pattern doesn't all match. kinda makes me wonder if the wheels even match. :icon_doh: guess the seller was eager to complete that sale! :icon_razz: |

Well I only paid 250 for them. When one is worth more than that. Just hoped they fit, if I can't find adapters for a reasonable price I can just sell them for more. The only reason I bought them without checking. (craigslist buy)

you do realize that adding spacers is gonna lead to rub issues, right?
if the wheels were a steal-of-a-deal, then flip 'em & buy something else for your truck. seriously, it'll be better than having a set of mismatched wheels on your rig. who knows, maybe you'll find another killer deal for a better fitting set. |
I agree, just sell em and buy wheels that fit properly. Then no fooling with spacers or anything.
