help with tire size
 

Have been lurking/reading for quite a bit but decided to come into the open!
It is a real help to read these posts - my Mechanic tells my Daughter her Mother is so knowledgeable .. if only he knew that without this forum, I would only be able to turn the car on! :)

Anyway, I decided that I wanted a 1996 Blazer and purchased one online
It needs work and I expected that and will take my time to change this/change that and so on; what I need advice with is the tires. It has some 265/60/20 M+S tires on it and they are badly worn. The cost is
around the cost of the car!

The car is lifted, I cannot tell the details as I left it at the mechanic and he has not looked at it yet in almost one week. Can I put a smaller size tire on it? If so, what size?
I have no other info at this time. Any suggestions?

the factory size is 235x70R15. if you could post up a picture it may help out. are you looking to retain the 20" wheels? $$$ tires! I think they are about a 33" tire. if you went to a 15" wheel the tires are almost half the price, even 17" tires are far cheaper.
