hey guys i need help !! with my rims
hey guys i was driving and i drove over a pot hole, and now i have 2 bent rims.
to get new ones it will cost me 400+ so do u guys think i can get them repaired ? anyone know any rim repair shops? |
Welcome to the forum
It depends on the rims, what they're made of, and how they're bent. If they're steel wheels and just the outer edges are bent, they can probably be straightened enough to use them. If they are bent bad enough that they are warped laterally, you don't want to run them. They'll shake your truck to death. Got any pics you can post of them? |
I would start looking at some aftermarket rims... If you have bent alloys I don't think bending them back would be good for structural integrity.

Putting aside the fact that this thread looks like spam, alloy rims can be repaired. A guy I know recently hit a curb and broke part of the bead of the rim off. Surprisingly, he found a local tire place was able to repair it for about $60

If you have stock rims and are just looking for a cheap way out why not just check the salvage yards?
