How would my tires be in the snow?

I know their gonna be **** on the road, but what about a little ditch riding or snow trailing? Just wondering to see if I need to get new tires or not. Thanks in advance.

According to my crystal ball.........................?

Sorry, crystal ball is temporarily out of order, we might have to do this the old fashioned way.
What do you have for tires? How much tread is there and what do you mean "they're gonna be **** on the road" ????

Their gonna`be ****ty on the ice and slippery roads. Only about 800 miles on em so almost full tread. 31" pro comp mud terrains. I want to know how they would do in the snow, like a path with a foot or so of snow. Say to get to a cabin.

I cannot remember what your tires look like, a pic would help tremendously.

However the more siping in the tread block area the better the tire will do in the snow. Each sipe provides traction. Plus you need gaps between the tread blocks for the snow to go. IF you run a solid tread block, common on most mud tires, your traction will suck.
Hope that helps. Does that help?

The tires look like this.... http://ekeystonemax.com/images/00/pa...MudTerrain.jpg

I know they wouldn't be good on the road but how about deep snow. Thanks.

They're gonna be ****ty in the slush/sticky snow.

There are hardly any "water channels" to let some snow pass through. The possible end result you'd be "floating" on the snow at high speeds and not "cutting" threw it. =loss of control. Or, you would dig a hole with the meaty tires you posted.

I'd bet they killer off road.

I know the A/T's from BFG are good in the snow, offroad anyways.

General grabber AT2's are great on wet and dry, even better in the snow and mud, and are 100% comparable to BFG A/T's.

those PROCOMPS look great though, I wouldnt mind a set for summer.
