I need input...
I have a 1993 Chevy Blazer, and for being a 21 year old chick, by default I'm a little bit vehicle stupid. :eek:I mean,my dad helps me do whatever it needs, I know BASIC Blazer knoweledge haha.So I need a little help from Blazer people! Well the tires on it are ridiculously old, and I need new ones. I also wanted to put a decent lift on the thing, so I'm thinking I should just go ahead and do it all now. I want my truck to look pretty meaty, but not over the top, you know? I was thinking of a 3" lift, with whatever tires will fit with that. Any ideas? I also am looking for a not so grossly expensive way to do this. I was considering looking at gently used tires as well.
Does anybody have any advice? :) |
RE: I need input...
3". you can put a 3" body lift and you should be ble to put 31's on it.
run a search and you should be able to find lots of info on this. |
RE: I need input...
I searched a bit, and I'm seeing some people say that I could possibly put 33" tires on it with a 3" lift.
Yes? No? |
RE: I need input...
The short version.
2" body lift and you can fit 31" tires. 3: body lift and you can fit 31" tires. To fit 33" tires you have 2 options. 6" supsension lift. OR 3" body lift and trim about 2 1/2" off the front and back of the fenders. your best bet for inexpensive. 30" tires. They will fit with no lift. IF you want to fork out the $300 for the body lift and 1/2" more ground clearance. its your money. |
RE: I need input...
you should be able to fit 31s with an add-a-leaf or shackels in the rear and a t-bar crank in the front.
