im so confused.

so im putting in 2" shackles, cranking my torsion bars 2" and im putting in a 2" body lift. people around here are saying that i can fit 35's in there but im not sure. i know i can fit 31's but anything bigger than that? also, what's the biggest tire i can fit on my stock rims(theyre brand new and i dont want to replace them)

you don't want to go wider than 11.5, and as long as it will fit 15 inch rims they're good

4' is the recommended safe amount wider than the rim. so stock 15x7 will allow up to 11, but 11.5 shouldn't be an issue.

As for 35s, it takes some 'finessing' (read: massive trimming) of the fenders to fit 35s with a TM5 or SL6....so that would put you about 1' too low with your shackles and body lift. Even if you could fit 35s, you'll have pretty much no movement and articulation left. Not to mention if you keep the stock rims like you want, then try a tire that big, you'll be hitting the frame and lose a pretty big chunk of your turning radius.

Why do you need 35s, as opposed to 32s, which will clear fine (save for a tiny bit of rub on the frame)?

Edit: Check out Lift Kit List for all your lifting/tire fitment needs :D

Damm 35's? Wow that's going to require alot of trimming. Better off getting 32's max. Good luck.

I have the same set-up with 32's and I can't imagine trimming anymore fender away, I've trimmed a lot already.

RE: im so confused.

Teh biggest without trimming your fenders will be 31" tires. Then again you could save yourself a ton of headache later in life buy just installing the 2" body lift and running the 31" tires. Teh 2" torsion bar crank WILL eat suspension and steering parts, plus ride like crap.

By the way, your not going to fit anything bigger then 33" even with fender trimming unless you beat your firewall back a couple inches. Your going to have to beat it back about 1" to fit 33" on there, even with the body lift.
