When you search for Blazer tires most of them come up as 15x8.. when blazers are 15x7. Any idea why? A lot of good rims that are an inch to big :(

Well depending on the backspacing and such a 8 inch wide rim won't hurt. You may rub frame and or sway bar at full steering lock. I've got 16x8 rims and they sit inside the factory fender flares at the top center of the fenders, and rub in the aformentioned places.

My factory "rally" style steelies are stamped "15x6" but I'm told all blazer wheels were 15x7...

But I thought 15x8 was the width? How can a 8" rim fit in a 7" tire?

And what's "full lock"? Sorry, I'm a noob, I know it :P There's a rim I really want ($350 for all four) and I just won't want to waste money buying them and find out they don't fit or something else bad happens. :/

Yeah the second number is the width. By full lock I meant when you are turning the steering wheel and you reach the end, or the lock, where you can't turn anymore and you can hear the steering pump kinda groan.

My old 15x6 rallys had 215-75-15's which is 8.5 inch wide. The normal 235-75-15 on 2nd gens is 9.3 wide. I'm running 94 camaro 16x8 rims with 10.4 inch wide tires and I rub the frame and sway bar when I turn the steering wheel about 1.5 turns.

But if I'm thinking right, a 8 inch wide wheel with factory backspacing would be a half inch wider on the front and back. So .5 inch closer to the outer fender, and 0.5 inch closer to the frame, etc. If your factory tire was 235-75-15, then a 265-60-16 tire would only be 0.4 inches smaller than factory. 245-65 would be the same size as 265-60, just taller instead of wider. Just some things to look around for.

The front-stock wheels stick out futher then the back ones o.O they actually come out as far as the fender while the back ones stick on. Guess that's normal. So .5in wouldn't be to bad.

These wheels don't come with tires :) Just wanted to make it clear. If I'd have to get new tires I prob won't consider it, to much $$$

From what I've seen, as long as your tires are still pretty solid, you can mount a 235-70-15 on a 8 inch wide rim. The tire will just swell a tad at the rim, making them a pinch shorter. But they should fit and seat the bead and balance and all that just fine.

Why the hell did I think you were wanting 16 inch rims? Man, you might be the "noob" but I'm the jackass. How'd I screw that one up?... lol

i'm liking the 2nd wheels more. they're pretty close to the factory aluminum rallye's on my 'Burb.

just make sure you get them in a 5 bolt pattern, 'cause the 6 bolts in your pic probably won't bolt up nicely. :icon_teeth:

Hey old skool, the first pic is a 8 lug pattern... :D Sorry, had to do it. Then agian being the Jedi master you are you probley noticed. But yeah it's weird, seems all rim pictures are always 6 and 8 lug, and all "import" or racing style alloy rims are always pictured as 4 lugs, rarely 5 lug.
