Max tire size?
 

I recently got a 96 Chevy blazer 4x4 from my grandpa when he passed away. First thing I did was spray the rocker pannels with Plasti-Kote Bedliner.
I would like to do several more things, first would be new tires, and since I'm getting new tires, why not go bigger? What would be the largest possible tire size I could put on the stock rims without rubbing be?

30's would be the max.

i recently "slapped" on 30/9.5/15 on american racing ar 767 15x8. and I was rubbing on the back side of the fenders (with tcrank 1inch) :( however if you are staying stock rims with same backspacing iirc you ok...

im running 31's on 2wd rims with t-bar cranked bout 1" and shackles in the back with no rubbing
