Need help deciding which tires

So next week i'll be purchasing my tires, i'm just torn on what I want to get. I know I'm going to be going to Pep Boys and buying a set of Definity Dakota's, just not sure which size and if it's going to be a set of A/T or the M/t's they have.

I don't drive my truck everyday, I only drive it on the weekends so i'm not to worried about ride quality or ride noise.

Should I get the stock size of 235/75 or should I just go for 30/9.5? Should I get the A/T's or the M/T's? Are the stock size decent for doing major off roading? Out where I am, there is a lot of sand and a lot of that nasty orange mud and clay.

I'm just torn, so I'm not to sure. Figured I would go ahead and see what you guys thought.

I'm curious to see what he ended up with also.

I was looking at the dakota A/T's too. I didn't want to get M/T's because of the drag it would cause which would lead to bad gas mileage.

Well unfortunately, I didn't end up getting a new set of tires..I found a set of Sidewinder A/T's on Craigslist for $200. They have excellent tread on them and they look almost exactly like the BFG AT's, but unfortunately this past weekend I went to Uwharrie (Which is full of rocks) and slashed one of the tires.. So now i'm saving up for a BRAND NEW set of tires.

But i'm going to be getting the Definity Dakota A/T2's, just not sure when I will be getting them.
