New tires...

Gotta get some new skins soon, anyone have any experience/opinion about these:

Sumitomo

Yokohama

General

I wish I could afford these, maybe if I waited long enough:

BFG

Generals ride great... thats all I have to say... don't know anything about Japanese tires, and I have no experience with lo-pro BFGs.

Maybe a red stripe tire? LOL j/k

i know alot of ricers that talk up Yokohama lo-pros on big rims, say they ride and handle well, but I dunno how they would feel on a truck..

I have heard that the BFG lo pros are the best American lo pro you can get right now. I'm leaning toward Sumitomo on the Japanese side, I like the tread pattern better than the Yoko and General.

Well, you can always go with the ol' GYEagles

How many miles can you get out of tires like those? I've only dealt with All-Terrains and Mud-Terrains my whole life. Just curious.

I've been on a set of Federal Super Street' for over 45,000 now. They still have about 70% tread left, but they are nearing 4 years old, and I have had a few patches due to nails and things like that, and it just seems like a good idea to get the new set before one of these meets its demise while I am driving. I can't replace my wheels, being as they only made a limited set, so I'd rather just be careful and get the new skins.

I say if ya can hold out for the BFG's. Acutally just had a set put on my buddy's silverado 2 months agoand he loves them. They really seem to ride nice and handling seems pretty spot on. Compared to the knock-off brand tires he had before these are a dream.

I'm gonna hold out as long as I can in hopes of grabbing up those BFG's! Jeez, I've never dropped that much on tires though, I'd have to be absolutely sure they are worth it first.
