newbie w/tire question
 
looking for those tough looking tires, with all the tread and stuff, usually for off-roading. what are they called im going to get new tires soon, probably from costco, do you guys know of any from there?

well depending on your driving it is probably better to get a allterain tire (if you drive mostly on road, and only occasinal offroading) they do not look quite as agressive as mud tires but are better if you drive on road.lots of people have bfgoodwrench i have bridgestone dualer at revo's and i like them.

I got my BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A's from Costco... They're about $50 less than the Revo's...

So far I'm liking them fairly well...

I replaced the original BFG 31x10.50x15All Terrains after 50K miles, they rode great got around well in the snow and mud, weren't noisy overall a real nice tire.

I replaced them with Kelly DTR (same size) which ride real smooth they do howl on the road but perform head and shoulders over the BFG, in my opinion.

For the price you can't go wrong with the BFG, if you're looking for something a bit more aggressive, be prepared to put out some more money, my Kelly's were around $600, that was for 5 tires though, so $120 a tire not too bad.
