Question about the rim fitment...

Are all Blazer/S10 rims compatible with all years? I know the bolt pattern is the same, but is the back spacing? I might be able to score some 1st gen rims from a 4x4 Blazer, for cheap, if they fit...

RE: Question about the rim fitment...

Yes they are all interchangable...they may have a slightly different backspacing, (actually I would expect the overal width to be thinner on the older ones, but may be exactly the same). If they are different,it won't be enough to make a noticable difference. Just don't put 4x4 wheels on a 2wd and vice versa...they look awfull IMO.

Well, I know that 1st gen 4x4 rims won't even bolt on a 1st gen 2wd, lol.

But thanks! That'll make winter rims easier to get ahold of, lol. Hopefully they're still kicking around, lol.

Good thing I've got a 4x4, so the rims should fit good then...

Yes all the 4x4 wheels are interchangeable. I have put the '87s on my '93 and '00, and put my '00 on the '87. I plan to take the '93 and put them on my '00 by my next rotate and balance.
