Default Rim size bolt pattern question

I have a 2001 Blazer S10 2WD and I've been shopping around for replacement rims/tires. I'm currently running 235/70/R15 (stock) rims. I don't want to have to worry about my messing with my speedo, so it has to be a bolt on solution that won't change that.

Couple of questions. What size bolt pattern does the stock rim have? What size tires will fit on my stock rims? (235/75/15?)

Thanks for your help!!

BTW, I got the train horns mounted (from another thread). It's amazing what you can do with a 2 ton jack and a sledge hammer. :-) Pics coming soon. 157db @ 200psi

The bolt pattern is 5 on 4.75"

Any tire in 15" size will fit your rim.
If your running the 235/70/15 and dont want to mess up the speedo, run another set of tires in that size.
Yes the 235/75R15 will fit the rim, however they are a bigger tire.

Check out Cooper tires, pick a tire, and look at the specs. It will have the dimensions of the tires in inches.

i'm a fan of the cooper cobra gt. My blazer handles exteremly well. and mine is a 4x4. had a friend tell me he was impressed with how well it handles for a 2 dr. suv. Compared to a buddy's 2 dr ford explore.

Anyone plus size their rims on this model? I'd like to go to 16 or 17 inch rims. Any suggestions?

I have some 16" wheels from a Firebird on my '87 S10-Blazer. I wrapped them in 285/75R16 Cooper Discovery STT tires (32.8"x11.3"). the Firebird wheels also have a 5.5" to 6" backspacing, just like our wheels do. Check the wheel catalogs for Firebird wheels. I believe Corevette wheels also fit.

How much will this screw up the speedo? I want the BFG A/Ts and I cant seem to find them in the 235/70 15s. Also how do you adjust the speedo to be right if I were to go with the taller tire?

Your speedo will be out 3.3%... When your speedo says 60 mph, you'll be going 62mph.

And to get it recalibrated, you need to get the computer programmed for the new tires.

Which can be done at the dealer or one of those aftermarket programmers.
I didn't get mine recalerbrated. I figured that my odometer will be off 3,000 miles every 100,000 miles. I can live with that.

Is the bolt pattern the same for a 96 4x4?
