Which tire better for winter

My 99 Blazer came with brand new 235/70/15 MICHELIN LTX M/S on the stock wheels when I bought it. A month later I acquired a set of American Racing wheels with brand new 235/75/15 Firestone Destination A/T Tires which I have been running on the Jimmy since.

The question is which tire is better over all? My guess would be the Destinations for winter since it looks more aggressive and the Michelin LTX for the summer since I don't off road and it looks to be more of a light truck tire with pretty mild tread pattern.

Anybody have any experience with either of these tires?

i luv those Michelin LTX M/S! had them on my dumped LB i built, and they worked pretty good in a slammed 2WD p/u with 4 to 500 lbs of sand over the rear axle.

i also had them on my other 'Burb (really regret going cheap with the tires on this one though).

as for the Firestone's..........from what i've read online, and the couple of guys i've seen with them on their trucks (a 3/4 ton Sierra and a 1 ton Ram) have luv'd them. they look like they'd be good in the snow.

how the hell did you manage to score such deals? was the devil involved?

My buddy had the Firestone Destination A/T's on his explorer and they were fanominal. Really meaty for offroading and the snow, and it was his daily truck and they ran smooth, they were really good. I would put them on my truck in a heart beat! They are my the ones I would choose

You cant go wrong with either- the ADRs and the TSWs both look great. I think the ADRs weigh 30 lbs. cause I was looking at them before going with the BBS wheels. Dont know about the Thruxtons, but weight might be a deciding factor.

Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors dude. I just put a set on my truck 2 weeks ago and we got some real sloshy snow and ice the other day. Worked PERFECT! I was one of very few going normal speeds on the roads :) And they look friggin awesome too!
