I need help with selecting tire for a set of rims that are 15 x 8. My truck is stock riding height. The tires on my old rims are 235/75/15. What will fit the 15 x 8 rims and not stick out to far.

Yeah I wanted to go as big as possible but if I go with 32's or bigger = GEARS!!!! Not wanting to go there yet...

I know nothing about cars orhow to go about any modifications that i want to make. but based on what i am reading in this thread am I safe in assuming that my new tires which are 31' x10.5 on the factory rims can be switched over to a 15x8 rim with no problems?
