I have a 2001 4wd 4dr chevy blazer and was wondering what kind of tires will look good? I don't wanna go huge just a little bigger than stock but nothing where I need a lift.

I just put 31 10.50 on my 99 4x4 4 door blazer 2 weeks ago... did not have to do any mods to it for them to fit. They are just a lil bigger than stock, they don't rub on any thing and look much better. But after putting them on could not resist to put a 2 inch lift on it hehehe.

That sounds awesome! Yeah idk if I wanna put a lift on yet maybe one day. I will look into that size and what kind of tires were they?

I put on 255/70R15 Cooper Discovery AT3 tires. the size equates to a 29.1x10.04R15 tire. The tires fit great and do not rub even with going off road on trails that i am comfortable with in a non-lifted Blazer. If you look around on here several people say the biggest you should run without a lift is 30x9.5 R15 tires so you don't rub. My tires are an all terrain however they do good in the mud and dirt and ride nice with minimal road noise. Some people i work with even swears they get 40-50,000 miles out of their AT3 tires. I am not lifting my Blazer right now either that's why i went with the 255/70R15 tires. If you measure the 30x9.5 R15 tires they usually only measure 28.5 up to 29.5 inches tall where as mine is 29 inches tall and is a half inch wider for a better foot print in snow and mud. Just my personal opinion on the size. However research the tires you are looking at. I went to alot of different forums on my tires before buying them. You can go to my garage and see them to check the stance and look of the size to.

They look good. I will look them up. I am looking at general grabbers right now.

You got really lucky that they aren't rubbing! I bet if you pull into a parking lot with the wheel turned it will rub on the back of the fender for sure. When I had 31's I could still rub with the rc lift and a 2"BL if I tried real hard lol! Now I have 37s and no rubbing:) |
Surprisingly enough i went full turn on small dirt mounds and little flexing in ruts to find where it would be rubbing. They haven't rubbed anywhere. I haven't flexed to where tires are leaving the ground but this is just an everyday driver that i do light trails and mud in. But i love them. I have a facebook page called "Grand Forks Blazers and S-10's" Look it up there as i have more pics of me and friends wheeling and having a blast.

I would check it out but I'm not Facebook friendly lol! Haven't had a FB in about 5 yrs.
