Wheel center holes

A set of wheels I picked up have a larger center hole than the stock blazer wheels have. Does this make a difference?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yup it sure does. Search here " hub registered". You probably can get some adapter rings to fill the space, but you will need a way to secure them.

well that's a bummer but figured it was better to ask then destroy my blazer. Thanks for the reply.

I have a set of Basset racing wheels on my truck, same thing, the center hole is big. But they also have 60 degree lugs. You can still use them, torque the correctly and then recheck them after a 100 miles or so. The lugs are what centers them. They use them on race cars taking corners at higher speeds than you`ll go in a Blazer, Right?

Lugs, especially 60* cone seat are not meant to support a vehicle. They are meant to deliver torque, whether accelerating or braking. A 60 * cone roughly decreases the shear strength by 40%. Dont believe me, look it up in the machinerys hand book. ^Please site the sanctioning organization that allows this.

http://www.summitracing.com/search/b...Wheel%20Wheels DOT certified, my mistake they are 45 degree giving more surface area making them have a stronger lock I have almost 10,000 miles on mine with no problem http://www.bassettwheel.com/
