Wheel Spacers 411

I am looking in to getting wheel spacers for my 01 blazer. It is stock hight whith goodyear wrangler silent armour tires on them. I know that you can put wheel spacers on the back tires with know problem. But what about the front ones? Can I put spacers on them too with out raising my blazer up?

depends how big the spacer is. most guys use a .75" spacer in the rear to even out the stance but you may be able to get by with a 1" spacer all the way around if your running a stock size tire and if you do rub in the front you could crank the tbars a bit(if you have 4wd) or trim.

Another thing to add is the further out your wheel is the more pressure(read: wear) there will be on your front end namely wheel bearings. So if you did space them out lets say, then cranked the Tbars so you wouldn't rub...and don't have the mechanical know-how to replace the parts you are putting more wear on it could get costly in the end to have your tire sticking out an extra inch. Don't listen to me though I just got new rims to stick my tires out 2" past the fenders and have my Tbars cranked, hopefully this heavy duty front end kit holds up hahaha.

lol, nice, yeah I don't want anything sticking that far out. I was just thinking of spacing out the front ones 1/4 in. and the back ones and inch to give it just alittle wider stance and even the tires out. if I can do that with out lifting it then I will just do that.

where are you guys getting your spacers at that are only a 1/4 inch or what? what is the stock diffrence between thefront and rear spacing, what size spacers do you need in the rear to be even with stock front end??

Thanks
