Wheel Specs
Hey first post here.
I have a 4x4 99 jimmy on stock wheels with 31x10.5 tires, I did have to take out some trim pieces and there is some rubbing if you hit a big dip while off-roading. No lift (yet). Will post pics later I want to get some aftermarket wheels, but was hoping someone could help me out. My question is would I be able to run 15x8s with 4.5 backspace? Or should I go with 0 bs and some kind of offset? Any feedback is appreciated |
If you plan on either of those rims you will do a lot more than a little rubbing. Plan on taking chunks out of your tires and possibly causing some body damage.

Front bumper valance, top of the lip on the fender, base of fender at the front doors.
I had to beat the inside lip of the fender and trim the molding on the jimmy just to run 2wd offset rims and stock tires. |
The torsion keys will help, but cause extra wear on the front end as it pushes it past the stock expectations... you'll be good on the rear with the shackles...
