wheels and adapters again

I have a set of wheels that were gave to my dad by my grampa then they were given to me..So they hold sentimental value to me and I really do not want to part with him but i dont have anything for them fit..my question is would you get rid of them and get something that fits or would you buy adapters and use them?..if I use them it'll be on my blazer that ill be using as a toy/DD..

Hang them on the wall for now.

Personally I don't have anything against wheel adapters or spacers, as long as you get quality parts, and are careful with the install and maintenance. I have a set of 1.25" spacers that I've been using on my truck for almost 5 years now with zero problems. You just need to make sure they're torqued properly, and check the torque on the spacer nuts just like you should do with the wheel nuts.

If the wheels can be made to fit and you're willing to do the work necessary to get them to fit, I say why not use them? Would you like to use them on your truck? Do you think they would look good on your truck? What's the specs of the wheels? Height, width, backspacing, etc. What bolt pattern do they have?

If the wheels can't be made to work, or you don't want to use them at this time and they have sentimental value just do like Diata suggested and polish them up and hang them in your garage. Maybe someday you'll have a vehicle they'll work on.

Same here with my spacers, no issues. Just cant rag on them or you may have problems. I got pics of my spacer install in my profile, check it out.

Thats a wide wheel for a Blazer, especially with adapters. Might want to wait for a 1/2t Ford or CJ to put them on.
