Wider tires?
 

I just bought a new (to me) 1998 blazer and the tires that are currently on it are non-aggressive and look more like plain jane street tires. I was wondering what width of tire would work well as far as giving me more stability and traction but not encountering rubbing issues. I plan on taking this car offroad but it won't be that extreme of stuff so i'll be looking at all terrain cause i don't want to kill me gas mileage either. Any imput would be appreciated.

P.S. I would also like to find some of the zr2 wheels to replace the steel ones i currently have but i don't want to spend $185 a piece.

At stock height the largest tires you can install are 30x9.5x15. There are many brands that make tires in this size from mild to fairly wild tread. If you look at some of my pics you will see that size on my truck. Good luck and lets us know what you decide.
