width of rims

ok i have a 1997 Chevy blazer 4x4.. i wanna keep 15 inch wheels but im wondering how wide of rims can i put on without rubbing and also whats the biggest tire i can put on it..i have no lift its all stock..

can i put on 30/11.50/15 tires with
15x10s rims that have.

Backspacing: 3.65"

Offset: -47mm

or can i at least put the rims on or will i need narrower rims or can i just get a narrower tires and put them rims on?

any help would be appreciated ...

Get another set of rims, that backspacing will kill you regardless of what size tires you put on them.

Ooo i wanna jump in on this one, I am looking for a set of rims for winter tires and I want them to stick out but not to the point where I have troubles. I was eyeing up these cheepies: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/15-In...Q5fAccessories
3.75 inches of backspacing...hmmm. So the rim would be 2.25 inches farther out than stock right? Thats a helluva lotta stickout LOL ment for a 2WD but it *says* it will fit 4x4 but would it work ok or will I have crazy tire rub?

Rubbing will be the least of your problems. Hope you are good at replacing front end components if you get them.

ive all ready replaced all the stinkin front end parts lol and what a pain it was. Whole front end just about fell apart as soon as the frist snow flew. So what works good? Rims with about 5 inches of backspacing? Im trying to avoid wheel spacers when I get the rims but I do want the wheels out there to help stabilize the goofy thing a little and make it not look like the rear tires are sunk into the wheel wells like it does now stock. Serisouly, its like the tires are cowering from the world in there...
