Will 15x8 4.75 backsp 3.75 offset19mm fit 265/75R15?

I would like to find out if the 15x8 5-4.75 w/3.75 backspacing and 19mm offset wheels that 'andrew383' is selling would fit my 2004 Jimmy ZR2 4x4 2 door with Bridgestone Duelers AT 265/75R15?

im not sure of the stock tires size of the Z but 265/75r15 is nearly identical to 31x10.5x15...

according to his for sale thread, they are on 30x9.5x15 and it looks like he trimmed the plastic on the front bumper a little bit (to prevent rub)

they may rub a little bit but if they do, just crank the t-bars a little bit or trim a little off the fender flares

If I remember right, stock ZR2 tire size is 31x10.50xR15.

With the 30s you probably won't rub... but with the factory tire size, you probably will a little bit... But I can't say for sure.

I was really asking if I could fit my tires into the rims he is selling. He's not selling the tires. If the rims fit my tires, I know for a fact that they won't rub. I am not sure about the offset, bolt pattern and rim width compared to the stocks I have now. Thanks for any info.

well the rims will fit on the tires you have now.

stock wheels: 15x7 5x4.75 bolt pattern 6" BS +51mm Offset

new wheels : 15x8 5x4.75 bolt pattern 3.75"BS -19mm Offset

the problem lies in the backspacing/offset. think about a normal wheel, 7" wide w/6" BS. that means the edge of the wheel sticks out 1" past hub. the new wheels are 8" wide w/3.75" BS . that means the edge of the wheel sticks out 4.25" past the hub... if you look at your truck visualize the wheels being 3.25" further out on each side and see where the tires are at. you'll almost definately rub at full lock but theres a high chance you will rub while turning or with the suspension flexed a lot.

great info guys, thx. I like howthe wheels stick out. Since I have the ZR2, it has an extra (stock) plastic flare on top of themetal body flare that I may not be able to trim (?), that's my concern. Secondly, will the alignemnt, ball joints, bearings suffer? If not, I think I should go for them. I've read in the forum that the ZR2 already has a wider axle than the non-ZR2's. Am I putting too much strain on those components? I've seen pictures of Jimmies and Blazers with far bigger tires than mine? Any comments are extremely welcomed!

I don't think you can trim the flares on the ZR2 without trashing them.If there is a ny rubbing, which way should I go for a lift and how much would be sufficient? 2"? And how much would it cost? Also I've read the forum threads about lifting and I gather that adding shackels and tightening the torsion bars creates too much stress in the ball joints and other components. Is there a better way? Would a body lift be too complicated and would the frame show?
