Default will 265/70/15 fit on 98 2dr 4x4 with touring suspension

Hello, I have a 1998 S10 2DR 4x4 Blazer with 62K mile. I bought it new and have been running the Cross Terrain tires in a 235/70/15 which is the original size. It came with factory touring ride suspension (RPO Z85 Touring Ride) It is not the ZR2 off road.

Michilein is discontiuing the Cross Terrain SUV tire and replacing it with the Latitude Tour

The Latiturde Tour comes in a 235/75/15 (Overall Diameter 28.86") (Rim Width Range 6" - 8" Section Width on Measuring Rim Width 9.25" on 6.5" )

or a 265/70/15 (Overall Diameter 29.65")(Rim Width Range 7" - 9" Section Width on Measuring Rim Width 10.71" on 8")

Which tire will be the best replacement for my original equipment 235/70/15? (RPO Z85 Touring Ride) It is not the ZR2 off road.

Will they both fit with out any clearence problems? I have stock wheels

My question is will it affect my speedometer with the new tire size and height and by how many mph ?

How much stability will I lose with the 235/75/15 tire changing from the 70 series the SUV was delivered with?

Please give me all my options. My concern is the best handling. Any links to tire fit guides for my Blazer would be appreciated also

Thanks "LowMiles"

your speedometer will be 5.891% slower than it is right now with the 265/70/15 tires on it as for handling I cannot say but i'm sure eventually someone else will chime in.
check out http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp thats where i got the number for speedo difference from.
