Will 30" x 9.5" fit on stock height?

Hi, will 30" x 9.5" BFG A/T fit without any issues on a stock 98 Blazer 4dr? I currently have the stock size 235/75- 15 on the Blazer.

I did do a basic search and found that it seems these size tires are the largest that will fit depending on the type of factorysuspension. Now the question would be if this is so, how do I find out what type of suspension it has?

Call the dealer with the VIN or is there a code somewhere on the vehicle? It is the Mark edition if that means anything.

Thanks

can't get em to rub even if I try!

as for the suspension question.... check the RPO code list in your glove box. . . mine has Z85 Heavy Duty suspension, but with 30x9.50's, I dont think the suspension package matters.....

Now that I know they fit, time to start saving for tires ;)

How do those A/T's do in the mud for ya? How's the pavement wear?

I've had a few sets of BFGA/T in the past and they have good wear on the pavement. I haven't had them in too much mud but it did good on some light trails.

Yep, the largest size you can go with without rubbing I believe, I have heard of 30x10.5's on stock with very minimal rub.

I'll be honest with you..... i've ran them almost 10,000 miles so far and I cant see any wear... the little rubber pointy thingy's are still on the tread... this was mostly highway.... I have had them off-road quite a bit... they self clean well for an AT tire... and they get very very good traction for an AT tire... now just about nay M/T tire will out do them off-road, but as far as and AT tire goes, they are the best ive ever ran. I've had BFG Land Terrains, Reminton Wide Brute AT's, Bridgestone Dueler AT's, and Uniroyal LIberator AT's...... these outdo those brands by a long shot.... I haven't taken it reall hard off road yet, but I had it in some soppy kentucky clay up to the bottom of the front bumper with water over the tires and did not get stuck. Anyone whos driven on Kentucky clay knows this is quite a feat for an AT tire.... I couldnt be happier with another tire. For the DD that does moderate off roading, these tires are perfect.

yea 255/70/15 the biggest you can go with very little tire rub and i know what you mena bout KY clay if a tire can make it in the stuff it a good tire. i have the grabber at2 and havent got stuck yet and ive been doin so mild offroading.

I also run the BFG A/T in 30x9.5 and love them. I am on my second set. First set lasted 60k.

Are those the factory R/TS Wranglers?

If you can't go any bigger than that, then I think yours might sit a little lower since it's 2WD unless they're the LT235/75/R15s They might be a little bigger...
