hey guys this my first post here so be easy lol, well ive been wanting to get some rims now and i love the look that these soft 8's give our suv's soo im going to get em..
ive got 99GMC Jim 2wd.. I have now on my stock rims are Goodyear Wranglers that are 235/70/15 which having the wheels parked straight theres like a 2 finger gap behind the tires to the fender and like 4 finger gap in the front and about 6 uptop.. the best way i can describe it lol
now im thinking of holding these tires for a bit more use so i want to put them on the soft 8's
thinking of getting the soft 8's with a 4.25 BS from summit

now my ? is .. if i get the 8's with a 4.25 BS can i wrap them with the tires i have now with any rubbing issues??
if not what would be the best BS to where it wont rub?
thnx guys

They should fit. Those wheels would be pretty close to your stock wheels.

With that said, judging from your description and picture, you might already have some clearance issues with stock tires on a stock truck. The cladding on the GMC versions adds a little bit of length to the fenders but not so much that one could only fit 2 fingers in.

Turning the wheels from extreme left to extreme right, do the tires come in contact with the fenders at all? Have you had an alignment recently?

FWIW: Here is a picture of my truck (4WD) with 235/70r15 tires.

thnx for the reply, no the tires dont hit when turning the wheel, but its really close and also the bottom inside of fenders, where its the closest to the tire when turning, has a very lil black mark that my looked like it touched in the past, but i can trim that off no biggie and also no i havent had an alignment, i need one tho.. pulls a lil to the right
thnx!
