Well i was looking around craigslist, and the local classifeds side, i came across some 2wd s10 wheels, and want to know if they would have less backspacing than the 4wd wheels.

Yes, they will stick out more than the 4wd wheels. By about 2.5". Be careful cuz this means they won't "tuck" into the fender if you do any rock crawling. They will stick out and hit the fender when the suspension compresses.
