Will these wheels Fit?

i was looking to buy some new Wheels tonight online and came across these which i really like, And i don't know anything about back spacing and what not so need help once again haha.

Here is the Link to the site HERE Which i believe would be the 8th Selection
****Pro Comp Wheels Series 98 15X10 5X4.75 BLK BSM 3.75****

Not if the backspacing is 3.75 stock is 6 for a 4wd i think. You would have a lot of rubbing.

Pro comps are very similar to Cragar Soft 8's (THE most popular aftermarket rims for Blazers). They look almost identical.
You may want to look into Cragar's. They only come in 4" backspacing, and you will fit them no problem. It just means your wheels will stick out a bit more then the stock 6" backspacing, so it gives it a more aggressive and mean look.
I wouldn't see you having any issues with a 3.75" backspacing. It's pretty close, but you may want to look into getting a 4" BS. I'd be more inclined to go with the Part #:98-5762 off that list you posted. It's closer to stock.

even with 4in backspacing with no lift you will probably rub the front and back of the fenders. nothing a little trimming will fix though.

Thanks Guys,

Sisk i think i would like to get the Cragar's you mentioned because i would like for them to stick out a little more for the aggressive look, You have a link by any chance for those?

i did some looking around and found them on summit HERE which ones will fit no problem, And also what does the 15x7 - 15x8 - 15x10 What does that mean and how will it affect anything on my stock blazer

Sisk 03-02-2010 10:32 AM

you'll want the second ones on that link (Cragar 3975734 - Cragar Soft 8 Wheels)

The 15x7/15x8 is the size of the rim. 15 being your diametre and 7 being width (in inches). So a 15x7 rim is 15" tall and 7" wide.

nj4x4blaze 03-02-2010 10:39 AM

I would go with a 15 x 8 wheel because you can fit a 11.5 or 12" wide tire in the future if you decide to lift it.

Sisk 03-02-2010 10:51 AM

yeah, thats a good point Dave raises. I never thought about you possibly getting a wider tire. Do you have any plans to do that?

BlazerGuy2001 03-02-2010 11:12 AM

What's the width of the stock rims? What difference will a 7" v. An 8" make? Not tryin to highjack the thread just thought it's a good place to ask

I do but maybe only t-bar cranks and shackles and 2-3" Body lift. Now do i have to buy the center cap's separate?

Also i have been seeing a few blazers like mine with 31's on them being stock height you think i could get them put on?

Stock size is 15x7..I believe we already mentioned this in the thread a few times. The difference is going to be a inch in width. Therefor you can fit a wider tire on it, but you may run into clearance issues.

I'm pretty sure the center caps come with the rims. I haven't heard of them not before, but double check in the description/fine print. You could alsoo contact the seller to verify.
As for fitting 31's on stock...it's been a debate for a long time. Since you have a 1st gen to the best of my knowledge, yes you can fit 31's without issue. you might see slight rubbing issues with the after market rims though. I'd recommend doing the shackles if you want 31's just to be safe.

my rims didn't come with center caps...

Sisk 03-03-2010 11:33 AM

Oh really? That sucks. Did you buy them from the same place? That's the first I heard of the centre caps not being included. Grant it I never really looked into it that great.

So cavalier, you'll want to check with the supplier to make sure they are/are not included

nj4x4blaze 03-03-2010 11:39 AM

Mine didn't come with the center cap either.

Benedict1337 03-03-2010 12:52 PM

i got mine from 4wheelparts.com I'm pretty sure most places the center caps don't come with the rims.

Cavalier z24 03-03-2010 11:11 PM

yeah there like and extra 13 bucks a piece but there worth it :)
