Hi guys, my father buy a second hand Trailblazer and be just discover that on board computer showns frozen data relaten to fuel consumption.
It is any way to reset computer or I need to change a sensor or even the PCM?

Very thanks you in advance!

Are you referring to "freeze frame" data? If so, Is the check engine light on? What DTC's are in memory? What DTC is associated with the freeze frame data?

Hi, Thanks for your replay. When I say "frozen", it is reffered to the data shown at dash board. for instante, fuel consumption should be different when driving at highway and urban circuit, but it always read as "5,1 km/l". I don't knw if I need to reset the pcm or something or send her to service.

Ahh, not OBDII ;) The DIC, (Driver Information Center) has a logic module that receives data from the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) and BCM (Body Control Module). The data is sent to the DIC through classII serial data. The logic module displays the data for you to view. Could be a problem in any one or more of the modules or wiring. Check the simple stuff first: visual inspection of wiring connectors and fuses. If that doesn't do it, you'll need a scan tool capable of viewing serial data status to diagnose it.

Thanks you so much!, Now... I "just" need to find out the wiring...
