It is with great pleasure that I introduce our newest staff member, George (GeorgeLG)! George has been helping in the tech trenches for a long time now so you already know him well. So please give him a warm welcome into his new role as forum Moderator!!

It is also a bit sad as he is stepping in to replace Les (lesmyer) who is stepping back as he prepares to sell his Blazer. I would like to thank Les for all of his help over the years here!

Congrats to George for taking on a mostly thankless job. I feel he will be great at it.

Sorry to see Les is stepping away, he has a wealth of knowledge. Hopefully he will still visit us now and then to share his knowledge.

 

Congrats George. It's always good to see you jump in on a thread. You have great troubleshooting skills, and have helped a lot of people.

I'll also add along with the other above that Les will be missed. It's been great having your help over the years.

Glad to see that you took the moderator job, George!! It's in good hands.

I learned a lot over the 13 years I have been a member of this forum. My mentor was the "Captain", for those of you who have been here a long time. Think I will find my original behemoth thread (when I first got my Blazer) and close it - then list the Blazer in For Sale of this forum. It's kind of fun to look at all the misdiagnoses that I originally made on my own vehicle. It definitely had some problems the first two years that I had it (as a 65K mile creampuff), but has been very good for a long time now.
