I have VIN W on a 1993. Does that mean I have the 'CPFI" engine, thatan NOT use stuff from the TBI?

Oh, and I don't know how it happened, but my first post was supposed to be in this forum, too. Here is that one, about the fuel filter change specifics. (I almost wonder if I can leave the bracket off and put the largest fuel filter with connections that will fit.) https://blazerforum.com/forum/perfor...e-right-78416/

Lightbulb

*waves at richphotos* HI MAN!

I was just getting ready to go grab a Red Bull and take photos of me exploring the area under the steering column, since maybe you are right, I may not have to touch that lower bolt part I photographed and posted on s10forum. Shall I go do that now? I will take pics, and post back, I suppose on there..

The P/O probably did take all that stuff out, it would not surprise me at all. I have wiring for an aftermarket subwoofer and everything. It was removed by them when I bought the truck.

I would guess that is your problem with the indicator not lining up, if it shifts into the gears fine, but just does not say which gear it is in correctly. that is probably your problem.

as for the fuel filter. I have yet to change mine, but it should be pretty straight forward. Looks like you are already on the right track with spraying it with PB blaster.

It sure was! I got it fixed. How do I adjust the column shift? Easy or hard? It says "N" when im driving... - S-10 Forum

Now, I just need the siZe of the crescent wrenches (line filter wrenches? They are different? ?) and HOW TO GET OFF THE FUEL FILTER BRACKET and I am changing that.
