Default alarm/security light problems

Things have been going well with the good girl until a week ago.
Now have a problem with alarm going off randomly, security light on, and -sometimes- dome light wont go out.
as noted here {best and closest I can find with search}
https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...larm-bcm-8858/
it would seem to be a problem with the pin switches on one of the doors, but I cant find anything out of the ordinary.. other than ONE TIME I got the Security light to go out by opening and closing the passenger side front door. Cant find a problem with the switch, however.. havent changed it yet.

PS: Kyle, that link in your reply in that thread doesnt work
PPS: Realize this may belong in lighting/electrical.

Anyone deal with this recently? Only ask becuase similar problems seem to come in a bunch on here.
Otherwise if and when I find the problem / solution I'll post it.

Sorry for the absence but I'm up to my eyeballs in a relative's house remodel... and it still has no end in sight. I'm getting too old for this.. will be 70 in a couple months!
