Default Dash lights on 95 blazer

I have check engine, brake, air bag, and anti-lock brakes lights on in my dash on my 95 Blazer. Is it true there is another code scanner that must be used for the anti-lock and air bag lights other than the OBD2 scanner? I also read somewhere that on 95 blazers there is either a 12 or 16 prong plug-in for OBD2 scanner. I just ordered a OBD2 code reader for my 2004 Buick and I should have it in a couple of days and was hopeing it would get out atleast 2 lights on blazer. Any information on this problem would be appreciated.

A generic scan tool will not be able to read the ABS & Airbag lights. Depending on what you get and what system you have in your truck (OBD1.5 or OBD2), you may or may not be able to pull the codes for the check engine light. If you have OBD1.5 and only want to read the OBD1 codes that may be stored, grounding a certain pin will work, it's just different on the OBD2 connector. There is a thread around here somewhere that states which pin to use.

YOu may want to actually fix the problems instead of just clearing the codes...
