Default Need help! Mysterious Leak

I have a 96 blazer, I was driving today and all of a sudden there was a loud hissing sound and what looked like steam coming from under the hood on the driver's side. It went on for about 5-10 seconds and then stopped. I got out and checked for any leaks and couldn't find any. Where could this be coming from? I didn't notice any change in engine temp or coolant levels so I don't think it has to do with the radiator. Please help

My a/c still works, its not ice cold, but still functions. I forgot to add that the problem seems to happen only when I have my a/c on high, and usually shortly after I start my blazer up.

well the hissing could be AC coolant leaking from a hose, it would be perceived as steam but very well could be freon, was it ice cold b4 this incident? and also when the coolant is low in the AC system the compressor kicks on and off rapidly..

the compressor does come on and off a lot more often than it should. I guess I just need to trace the ac lines along the drivers side and see if I find any leaks.
