Default Trick to disconnect wires from underhood fuse box?

I'm slowly but surely working through all the steps to replace my intake manifold gaskets on my 2000 2 dr 4x4.

I'm trying to get the wire harness that runs across the top of the engine out of my way. I've unbolted the underhood fuse box and loosened the bolt that secures the wire harness to the bottom of the fuse box. There are a couple of 2-wire harnesses that are getting in the way of completely removing the engine wire harness.

I struggle with wire connectors every time I work on cars (as I'm sure most everyone does), but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to disconnect these 2-wire harnesses. I can't find any visible tabs that I can attack with a small screwdriver or pick. Is there actually a special tool available for these connectors?

Shouldn't have to fool with the fuse panel at all, what connectors are you trying to get apart?

I figured my life would be easier if I got the wiring harness that runs across the top of the engine completely out of my way. If I can disconnect it from the the fuse block, I'm home.

I attached a pic of the bottom of the fuse block. The big center block is where the engine wiring harness comes in. If you look at the upper right hand corner of that block, you'll see two red wires. They're ganged together in a 2-wire plug. That two wire plug is the one I can't remove.

If all else fails, I guess I'll just fight the harness when pulling the manifold.

I have disconnected the wiring harness from the underhood fuse box for all of the LIM gaskets I have R&R'd. It can be a pain once you get the retaining bolt loose. There are a few hidden catches. Get a small flat blade screw driver & try to work around the edges.

Looked at it with fresh eyes this morning and got it. There was a snap hook hiding in the back that took some work to break free.

Thanks guys.
