Cool '79 K5 and '88 K5 Builds *UPDATED* Pic Heavy

So I'm finally getting off my butt and making a build thread for the Blazers. My Dad is actually working on his again and I'll be starting work on mine again this Saturday. These pictures were taking at night and aren't the best, but I'll have more on Saturday.

As you all know I own an 88 K5, but I wouldn't even appreciate how awesome K5s are if my dad didn't have his '79 K5. He's had his truck since I was born, he used to have a '78 Trans Am... but found that he couldn't quite fit all my baby things in there lol. So he bought "Big Blue". If I'm not mistaken, I believe he's the 2nd owner of it, and it was garage kept before he bought it off a lot. Don't quote me though lol.

He's currently in the process of completely restoring it.
This is what it looked like pretty much brand spankin new.

And this is it as of yesterday:

Its a flatbed!!!

And my "Dirty Girl" is getting a new engine and paintjob.

Old engine out

New one painted and almost ready to go in.

Shes got shackles, I wanna wrap a chain between my tow hooks too lol.

My dad got his floorpan welded in and fixed a few spots that were messed up yesterday.

I got my Driver's Side Fender and Door sanded. Don't have pictures of the door because it got too dark once I was finished.

And no Tyler wasn't in the Carseat. lol
I was just getting it off the ground.

He was Supervising. lol

Well I've had prior experience...

The night I met my Husband I got pissed and accidently backed into his buddy's '02 or '03 Musthave GT that my husband was driving. I couldn't see it and he parked really close.

Nice job! (I would've done the same thing if someone tried to block me in with a Ford! I'll bet he doesn't park so close now does he...lol)
