Hey everyone! Pretty inactive member here just wanting to create a build thread for my truck. Mostly to log the progress im making since purchase date and to show my children the awesome cars/trucks daddy use to drive.

I own a 98 Blazer 4dr 4wd. Pretty awesomely maintained. Came with new fluids, shocks, alignment blah blah blah. It was a HUGE change going from a lil tuner car integra to a damn suv... lol. Really hit me on the way home on the highway on ramp i USE to take a 65 now its a more conservative 35mph.

Within the past 15k miles I have done the following...
AMSOIL 0w30 w/filter
AMSOIL 80w90 front/rear diff services
T-case service w/ GM goodness
K&N Intake
Accel coil,cap,rotor,wires,plugs
Gibson stainless steel cat back
Got suckered in and got one of those throttle body spacers
Hypertech MAX ENERGY!!!!
Michelin tires and some brake pads/rotors

Pretty much just saving my money now since im stuck in which direction to go... just a box 6" lift from superlift or custom SAS....

Thats pretty all that comes to me at the moment. Ill try and keep this up to date as the mods/changes come. REALLY wanna get some heated seats for it but havent done much research in it. But much like everyones job, things have slowed down at the shop so i cant just spend my paychecks on add ons like i once was able .

Well update for meeeee!
I kinda got into a bumper bender.
Have to replace my front bumper lower valance AGAIN.... So I took this time to purchase a westin full grille guard.
I'll be taking this time to price out line x to spray the lower body line of our blazers and do a little something something to the grille.

I'm thinking gloss black with a flat black bowtie. Or bed line the what is now painted over chrome bar thing with a black ss bowtie.
Any input blazer Lovin buddies? No homo.

 

well this update is long over due.
had the front grille and bumper replaced.
added a 1 piece brush guard.
and purchased a set of built axles. (8.8 & D30)
they are locked and geared to 4.56 from my buddy.
and! wait for it... a full set of 35/12.5/15's with full size spare included! cant wait to tear her down and start the lift process!

After new front faring. Still missing a few pieces here and there. Got it off my friend and somehow has the same paint code as my blazer AND my toolboxs at work haha. Too much matching? Maybe... Maybe.



Thats gonna be my transportation while my blazer is in the shop for the SAS. Got a nice set of axles off my buddy's wrangler. Ford 8.8 and a D30 up front geared and locked to 4.56 with 5 tires. Ill be hoping to post more pictures of the progress and try to be on the site more often since I love the place but work so much its hard to find time to update. Had to have my girlfriend upload the pictures for me haha.
