^^ yeah, but he's lifted with some large meats....
I get 19mpg 66/33 (hwy/city) split. I drive the speed limit and my "Low Fuel" light comes on approximately at 250 miles. I fill up around the 240 mark, 11-13 gallons per fillup (yeah, I thought I had a 14gallon tank until I read the "quirks"). I drive the speed limit, or cruise about 2k rpm. I've got a 4d 4x4, all stock for now.

Yes this has been discussed before but as a point of reference for those who don't want to/can't fix their sending unit and use their trip odometer to fill up, it's useful.
I fill up no later than 250 miles. She's due for a tune-up but with 89 octane I'm getting 16-17mpg average in a 2000 2dr 4wd. With 87 the best I saw was 14 average. We'll see what she prefers after the tune-up.

I recently drove to vernon bc from calgary, it was about 650km, so I guess thats like 390 miles, plus i drove around on that same tank the next day so I would say near 400 miles to one tank but I filled her right full before I left, I mean right full!

i dont see how you guys are getting the mileage you say. Im lucky, LUCKY... if i get 14 mpg. 220 miles on a tank is getting close to getting stranded usually.

How do you drive? Most of the time when I drive home or back to school, I am in no big hurry and dont run too much over 2k rpms.... it gets up to speed quick enough for me.... plus I dont do much city driving... although hot roddin around and doing some revs around people and a lil tire spin caused me to drop to 17.8

i drive rather conservatively, but only because of the thirst of the beast.
also forgot to mention that 14 mpg is in town driving.
if i get out on the interstate i can see up to 18 mpg best case scenario.

I get about 200 miles per tank. usually 13 gallons before I fill up. so 15 miles per gallon. My commute everyday is 35miles at 50-55 mph with alot of hills. Also the truck is awd and rotating some heavy *** wheels. So I guess its not to bad.
