Default 1989 T-10 V6 4.3L Needing guidance please.

I recently bought a 1989 Chevy T-10 Blazer. It's been a real pain to get running so I've decided that instead of just surfing the boards here and trying to piece knowledge together it would be more beneficial (and probably much better on my deadline since it's very near) to stop and ask for help.

The engine is a V6 4.3 Vortec, with TBI, 4 wheel drive and all. The list of problems starts at the front door and goes around the block three or four times. We do have two repair manuals (Chilton and Haynes) for the Blazer as well, however sometimes it seems easier to have a regular Joe explain his steps then try to puzzle out our books "cryptic metaphors".

The main issues we're having is a lack of spark. The rig has a new Distributor, new Coil, spark plugs, and spark plug wires in it; both are only two weeks old. We've checked the fuses and they are golden. My next step is to replace the Electronic spark control module. Any suggestions on places to check before dropping 60 to 110 on a new module?

The other current issue we are attempting to work out is where all of our vacuum hoses from the Carburetor connect. Our lead mechanic is paranoid about putting them in the wrong spot, can't remember where they originally went (this was his rig originally), and neither of our books are making much since with the diagrams. (That could just be my inexperience with them.)
Would someone mind taking a few fair sized pictures of the Carburetor hoses and where they connect? The one that puzzles me the most is behind the carburetor assembly and right next to the Distributor. (I'm sorry if I'd thought to plan ahead I could have taken a few pictures today and uploaded them.)

Thanks,
Will

Update:
After replacing the Spark control module and the ignition coil we have great spark. Now we've got a new issue, no fuel making it to the carb. There's 10 gallons of good gas in it, fuel pump is engaging, and the fuel filter is new, so my guess would be some blockage in the lines. Any outside help would be greatly appreciated, this thing's running me into the ground.
