Default Jerking C1500 at Highway Speeds

Hey guys it's been a while but I need some help. I have a 1995 GMC C1500 with the 350 and 4L60-E transmission. During highway speeds (40 mph and up) the truck jerks almost as if it is jerking like a bucking bronco. During this there is no loss in RPM or oil pressure. Only happens when I'm lightly getting on the gas to go up hill (between 1300-1500 RPM) or to pass someone. Goes away if I hammer on the gas and get above 1500 RPM. Anyone have any ideas? Any help is appreciated

Clean the maf with some maf cleaner. they cause all kinds of funky problems when they get dirty. hows the fluid level in the trans?

The fluid in the tranmission is full and the fluid is nice and clean. It's weird it has the feeling of the loss of power but the rpms don't go down. I was wondering if it could be something in the rear end

ehh. they usually make noise though. do you have a tach or are you listening by ear?

I've got a tach and I watched it as it did this and I didn't notice an rpm drop. Oh and it's a tbi unit so it doesn't have a MAF sensor.

ah cool. less pita parts to fail.

Ive got tbi as well. I do remember feeling mine pull back like that and the grey connector was loose on the coil. I had broke the clip that holds it on and it had slid partially off. See if you have the same issue.

Have you tried readjusting the detent cable for the trans?

Nah man I'm not sure how to do that. It's a 4l60-e not a 700r4 so i don't think there is an adjustment but I could be wrong

Wow i had a brain fart.

this is hard to diagnose since you said the revs stay the same. I hope the trans is not slipping.

Yeah me too I had enough problems with the last vehicle I had with a 4l60e trans. I mean it only happens in 4th gear at lower rpms under hard load during cruising speed.
