Tranny problem won't go into gear
Ok since I'm posting here I have a tranny problem here is what is going on.
I have a 2000 blazer ls with the 4l60-e tranny in it my column shifter is all the way in park but it is only registering the that it is in the 2 or 3 position. I have taken off the tranny pan and checked to see if anything have broke IE chunks in the pan, or anything like that all that was in there was some rust specs the biggest was less than 1cm wide. I checked the internal and external shifting link the external works and if I manually move the internal back to park it will register and I can start her up but as soon as I go to shift it at the column it is extremely hard to put it into gear I have to use a lot of strength to even get it to move. The rod on the internal shifter link has some play in it (don't know if that is normal or not?). If anyone knows how to fix this I would be extremely grateful. I've done some research and that is how I came to look at the parts I have already but there isn't a whole lot of info about this problem out there. Thank you for the help
