How Rare is a Stick Shift Blazer
Hey guys, I am new here, 1st post. I just bought a 2002 Chevy Blazer LS Rear wheel drive, stick shift, 2 door. Done some work to it myself, and the topic came up; these were supposed to be special order only...? Is this true? If so how rare would one of these be? are we talking 1 in 1000 on the road or what?
Thanks

Can't say for 2002, but in 1998 model year, 52,826 were built and 2,974 of them came with the stock 5 speed manual transmission.

s10s come in the shop all the time, unless its a 4cyl pick up i never seen a stick shift in any blazer yet.
i had a 85 2.8 stick shift blazer years ago

Uncommon maybe but I would be pressed to say rare. I know of 3 2wds and one 4wd local to me.
A 2wd zr2 is rare but I also know a guy that drives one of those.

ZR2 is a 4WD option only. Probably just has ZR2 badges.

Now now Cap. There were some 2wd ZR2's as well. As silly as that sounds it is true. They were made in 2004 (and I think 2005 as well) and had the same suspension as the 4wd models, torsion bars and all. Just didn't have a front diff, CV shafts (but did have to have stub shafts through the front hubs), or a transfer case.

Really? I'm on a mission now

My question is WHY would GM offer it. Please tell me it wasn't a 4 door
