Default So...might be buying a ZR2

I have decided to park my summer ride (1990 Prelude) till I get the turbo system and suspension done. So now I need another summer toy. Sure corners are a blast in my car, but I want to get into more off roading. And the wife uses my '02 Jimmy to go to work, so I cant break that till she gets her own car. So I found a 1998 Blazer ZR2 for $2500 with new 33x14.5-15 Super swamper Boggers. 270 000km with new ball joints, axles, brakes, and some other misc. stuff. So if all goes well ill be getting it thursday night.

14.5s on stock rims?!?

All I can say is YIKES!!! I would also have to guess there has been a LOT of trimming done. Still, that's a pretty good price.

Tires retail up here for $530 each. If its too much, ill sell them and get some 32x10.50's. He did some trimming, but not a lot. He doesnt have rubbing issues either. If I get it ill take pics of what he did.

there must be some kinda lift to clear those tires. If not it probably rubs while out on the trails. Mine did with only 31's and i had a 2in body lift. Did you get the tire size of the actual tire or is that what you were told. Cause they dont look that wide. If they are the shouldnt be on a a5x7 wheels. The wheels should be at least 10in wide.

^^ lol youve got a 10" wide rim tho so i wouldnt be to afraid to throw a 14.5" wide tire on those, but it appears to be the stock rims on that zr2 and i think itd be a lil sketchy having a tire that wide on stockers
