Vehicle ID
Hello there, i'm trying to identify this car.
It's advertised as a "GMC Blazer Silverado" from 1978, 5.7 engine with 185 HP and automatic transmission.
For the last few days i've been looking at lots of pics, went through all the old brochures on CK5, but i haven't been able to find a match.
I'm hoping someone here knows more, so i can find out things such as catalog price, availability of parts, current value, etc.
Unfortunately i don't have more/bigger pics, but hopefully it's enough.
Thanks in advance!

thats not a 78 front end. with the dual side by side lights that was only availble between 89-91 (i think) but its a common swap for older vehicles. but he must have also swapped the hood and fenders too. most these blazers were basically the same from 73-91 with just minor cosmetic differences on the outside.
if you got the vin that should tell you exactly what year it is

Thanks for your reply, looking through the old brochures it was indeed the front end that confused me, earliest i could find that one was '91
Unfortunately i don't have access to it, it's at auction, no way to find out the VIN before i bid.
There's more inconsistencies, tax registration says '78, but it has a fairly recent license plate number, i'm guessing it had some major work done, causing it to need a new registration.
But maybe someone knows what a '78 model goes for these days?
